Dear Hoover Families, 

Welcome back to a new school year full of opportunity! Whether you’re returning to Hoover or joining us for the first time, we’re so glad you’re here!

Elementary school is such an important and special time in a child’s life and I am excited to lead the dynamic team here at Hoover to provide the most impactful school experience we can for your student. We continue to see academic growth in both Math and Reading year-over-year. Our team is excitedly optimistic to continue that progress this year. 

Of course we know that the academic, social, and emotional growth of your student is not done without strong partnership with their most important advocate– YOU! We value working with families to develop students who “grow up to be a kind, confident leader,” as our mission states.  

This handbook will outline my expectations for students and families and provide information about what you can expect of the staff here at Hoover. Please read this handbook thoroughly.
